IX.7.3 Pompeii. May 2006. Blocked entrance doorway, with two Corinthian pilasters. According to Della Corte, this house owned by a person called Coniunctus was unlikely to have been a different person from P. Sittius Coniunctus, already noted as candidate to the municipal office and member of one of the most old and distinct pompeian families.
Graffito found to the right of the entrance read –
(P. Sittius?) Coniunctus facit. [CIL IV 7817] See Della Corte, M., 1965. Case ed Abitanti di Pompei. Napoli: Fausto Fiorentino. (p.281)
According to Epigraphik-Datenbank Clauss/Slaby (See www.manfredclauss.de) this read as -
