According to Della Corte, this house owned by a person called Coniunctus was unlikely to have been anyone different from P. Sittius Coniunctus, already noted as candidate to the municipal office and member of one of the most old and distinct pompeian families.

Graffito found to the right of the entrance read –

(P. Sittius?) Coniunctus facit.  [CIL IV 7817]
